One of the core tenets of our culture is that we prefer hiring for attitude and aptitude over glossy CVs and that we love promoting from within. As part of the hiring process we use scorecards to evaluate and assess candidates fairly and consistently, focussing on their skill set rather than previous track record. We’ll always take hustle and ambition over grades and have structured our interview process to reflect this. To improve the interview process we’ve also invested in better tools so we’re able to see and react to impactful data points such as what candidates think of the interviewers they meet, the length of our interview process, the quality of our feedback, and many other key pieces of information to ensure we turn every candidate into a Synthesia ambassador.
