Swipe Out Hunger careers

University students who live on campus purchase meal plans that earn them 10-20 meals each week. If a student doesn't use all of their meals by the week's end, they roll over and accrue. By the end of the year, students are often left with hundreds of dollars on their meal plans. What happens to those dollars? Nothing, they are nonredeemable–you cannot get them back.

This is where Swipe Out Hunger comes in. We give university students the opportunity to donate their unused meals to individuals just down the street (or on their own campus) who are facing hunger.

It takes a student just seconds to donate and through a partnership with the university, the funds are donated directly to a hunger relief organization.
