Sulon Technologies is a startup founded in 2012. The company’s first product is the Cortex – a spatially aware computing platform. The Cortex headset presents a new and unique way to experience the real world around us.Sulon’s goal is to enhance the way we experience our world.


The Cortex combines next generation virtual and augmented technologies to revolutionize the way we live our lives. It is a spatially aware, wearable head mounted computing platform that enables immersive experiences through next generation virtual and augmented technologies that has not been possible with any other technology to date in a single, standalone device. The Cortex contains 3D sensors and scanners that detect and integrate the user’s immediate physical surroundings into its rendered world, making it a spatially-aware headset. Users can move freely through either augmented or virtual worlds and can control their surroundings using motion and gesture controls.
