studyhall.com | The Official Talent Engine for American Colleges ***Be sure to hit the "follow" button to get important updates on hiring >> wellfound.com/company/studyhall-1 StudyHall is a talent engine to connect the top 1% of students with great companies that are hiring. Using a patented algorithm that focuses on quality over quantity, StudyHall ranks the top 25 of students in three primary categories: hackers, hustlers and social media mavens. StudyHall provides detailed metrics on each student - saving time and money for companies who no longer have to use resumes or job boards to reach qualified job candidates. Founded by two college buddies from Cornell University, StudyHall is a DC-based tech company with a mission to empower companies with data-driven hiring decisions. StudyHall assigns a rating called "HirePower" to each candidate. This score factors important metrics such a student's impact/influence on campus, likelihood of success at companies, and also includes a resume review for each candidate that sources data from sites like LinkedIn, GitHub, Angel List and StackOverflow. The StudyHall model reduces turnover and employee attrition with its project and portfolio ranking. For hiring companies: StudyHall provides paid subscription access to pre-screened, vetted students who are job candidates. Companies subscribe to StudyHall's engine and qualified applicants are sourced if they match. For example, a company will select the type of role they are looking to fill, e.g. Social Media maven, and StudyHall will match the company with the most influential college campus mavens. These social influencers will be able to interview for positions at companies like Facebook and Microsoft. Another quite common example is for hackers, where there's a never-ending hiring demand. Rather than sort through coder resumes, StudyHall matches companies with future coders who are selected based on a proprietary quality score drawn from prominent coding communities. For job candidate
