Studio X careers

We are a group of scientists, designers, developers, and entrepreneurs creating new products that reimagine exploration. Our studio is a new endeavor fully-owned and incubated by Shell to break down the silos of traditional R&D. We apply a collaborative approach to innovation, by bringing together internal and external expertise, resources, and talent to create fresh perspectives and ideas. We call this “open exploration.”

The result of our efforts is the launch of Xeek, XCover, and SixLab - the first of many innovative products that are already creating competitive advantage for exploration. With Xeek, we crowdsource distinct data science tools to be applied at scale in geoscience workflows. With XCover, we introduce the industry to a remote geoscience workforce and virtual exploration platform. And with SixLab, we empower and guide startups and entrepreneurs at the cutting edge. The open collective working with these powerful products is how Studio X creates the future of work in energy.
