String Labs is a venture-backed crypto studio, incubator & investor, located in downtown Palo Alto, CA. Current projects include DFINITY, an Ethereum family system that introduces decentralized governance via a "Blockchain Nervous System"​ and new third generation network protocols and cryptography. Specifically, DFINITY is a P2P network that produces a scalable virtual computer for decentralized cloud computing.The virtual computer is backed by decentralized protocol execution rather than physical servers, giving it different properties - it has no geography and is unstoppable and tamperproof - offering profound opportunities for business reengineering.
