Startup Garage careers
Startup Garage is a University of Ottawa initiative to foster and support student entrepreneurship in the Ottawa area.
The program offers youth-led ventures the opportunity to accelerate their business by working full time over the course of three months during the summer and by providing participant companies with four essential tools:
-Up to $20,000 in reimbursement of eligible expenses.
-A workplace provided by Invest Ottawa.
-Mentorship & guidance from business experts to help companies grow faster.
-Training in sales, marketing, financing and more!
The program is delivered through the generous support of Capital Entrepreneurs (OCE), Invest Ottawa, Gowlings, Logan Katz and adjoy.
To be eligible one founder must meet ONE of the following criteria:
-Be an undergraduate or graduate student at the UOttawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, or La Cité Collégiale.
-Have graduated from UOttawa within the past two years.
-Be 18-29 on June 1, 2016, and reside in Eastern Ontario
