Start Smart Labs is a Big Data Incubator for startups that are developing data intensive applications on Hadoop, helping those companies move from concept to a running business. We provide advice, coaching and mentoring to entrepreneurs, along with seed funding and a number of discounted services, such as banking, legal, hosting and office space. The SSL team works closely with the startup management team in all aspects of the business, including product planning and positioning, marketing, engineering management and international issues, with a personal, customized approach. It addresses the needs of the startup with a long-term commitment, leveraging a network of top Angel investors, VCs, mentors and partners.
Start Smart Labs also has a subsidiary in Chennai India, StartSmart Labs India Private Limited, enabling SSL to provide high quality engineering resources to the SSL portfolio companies.
