• Create 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for robotic automation cells, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), custom fixtures, machine guards, and structural support using SolidWorks
• Design to manufacturing constraints for sheet metal, welded fabrications, and machined components

• Partner with sales and customers to design robotic solutions for novel applications, serving as a trusted technical resource throughout the sales cycle
• Own installations end-to-end — traveling to customer sites to install, program, and validate Standard Bots solutions in the field

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close — and systematically drive the close timeline toward a best-in-class cadence
• Design and implement the internal control environment from the ground up: COSO framework, segregation of duties, approval matrices, and SOX-caliber documentation and testing

• Build and own outbound pipelines for every role in the manufacturing org
• Run multi-stage outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and other channels; track response rates, run experiments, and continuously iterate on messaging and copy

• Assemble production robots and components according to specifications and work instructions
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process and report issues to the Production Supervisor

• Own control performance across our products: smooth motion, tracking accuracy, and high-fidelity impedance control
• Design and own control-loop benchmarking and validation — loop rates, synchronization jitter, tracking error — across communication architectures such as CAN and EtherCAT

• Work with the sales team and customers to understand automation goals, production constraints, and integration requirements
• Design practical, buildable solutions around Standard Bots' hardware -- and build the proof of concept yourself to validate it works before anyone signs anything

• Manage and develop a team of Applications Engineers across your territory -- setting expectations, coaching on technical and customer-facing skills, and building a team that executes at a high level
• Own capacity planning and workload distribution across your team -- making sure the right engineer is on the right job and nobody is drowning

• Work with customers and the sales team to identify where AI -- computer vision, object detection, visual language models -- creates real leverage in their production process
• Design and build proofs of concept that validate the solution before anyone signs anything

• Run day-to-day operations for our data collection floor
• Be hands-on with the work yourself, especially early on — you set the standard by doing it, not just directing it

Standard Bots builds next-generation robotics for manufacturing affordable, capable, American-made automation. Our hardware is a tightly integrated electromechanical system, and we build it in-house at our Glen Cove, NY facility.

• Provide technical support to customers from the hours of 4pm to 12am EST, via phone, email, video calls, and ticketing systems — diagnosing and resolving issues with Standard Bots robots
