Google and these services are complementary one to the other. And I found another niche, logical search. Current search engines make three assumptions. First, people know what they are looking for. Second, People know what keyword they have to use to get the information. Third, People know a logical order of keywords. We can say this way, if people ask a right question, then search engine will give a right answer. Some times people ask a right question but not always. In detail, first, People’s initial or perceptual needs can be different from their actual needs; we can rephrase this as what they want versus what they need. Second, people might be struggled to find right keyword to pull out right information. Some subjects require basic research to understand jargon. Third, people might start a specific keyword first and then move to a broad one but this random order of keyword is quite different from universal logical thinking flow that start from a broad concept and move to a specific one. For example, we should understand plus, and minus before move on to equation, or integral calculus. To solve this problem, I coined term ‘search journey’ search journey means a streamline report of search activity from the start to the end. Let’s say I want to buy drone. I am very diligent person so I put the 30 keywords on the search box and visited 200 links including bouncing (bouncing means leaving right away). I spent 5hour in total.
