Spotfood is a marketplace that connects event organisers with vendors such as Caterers, Photographers, Decorators and more, for upcoming Virtual & Physical events.

The Spotfood marketplace offers end-to-end event planning and collaboration functionalities for both event organisers and vendors, including quote management, milestone tracking, guest lists, e-invites, itineraries and vendor payments.

The customer problems that our platform aims to solve are:
1. Finding vendors for events is time consuming and involves extensive Google search, calling to get 3 quotes and chasing-up vendors if the quote is inconsistent with the requirement.
2. Different processes and systems exist for each vendor and make collaboration for an event difficult and prone to miscommunication.
3. People organising their own personal events are not professionals and don’t have a simple solution to plan and coordinate their event.

Our platform helps event organisers find and collaborate with vendors in a single, end-to-end solution. They can receive quotes from multiple vendors in a single request, collaborate with in-app messaging, create guest lists, e-invites, itineraries and pay all vendors in a single click. For vendors, the platform provides listings of upcoming events to quote on and tools to manage bookings, invoices, earnings and staff, within the platform.

Spotfood has a competitive advantage as the first mover since there are no existing applications that offer a marketplace for event organisers and vendors supported by a suite of end-to-end event planning functionalities in a single platform. Our solution provides event organisers access to a large number of vendors and an integrated platform to simplify event planning. For vendors, our platform offers access to local events and enables an additional revenue stream.

Spotfood is already available in the market and has a positive traction in the onboarding of vendors and event organisers to the platform.
