These are people that like to see a reflection of themselves in the products, services, and experiences they consume. But they find it extremely difficult to discover businesses that are aligned with their "social identity". Social Identity is a term created in 1978 by a psychologist that studied the way people connect within groups and across groups. It is a reflection of a person's race, religion, military service, gender, sexual orientation or even dietary lifestyle.
