We believe that voice will be the next paradigm shift in UI design, but the true killer app for voice technology is still to be seen and it won't have anything to do with smart speakers or voice assistants. The existing solutions by Google, Amazon, Apple etc. address only a small fraction of the problems that can be solved with voice, as they focus on a question-answer typed of voice only problems. This is good for information retrieval (e.g. what's the weather) or simple remote control (e.g. turn on the lights), but is very frustrating in many others (e.g. online grocery retail). Have you ever met anyone who would absolutely love their Siri or Alexa and couldn't live without them? Nope, we neither... We want to become the "Twilio for Voice UIs", and have built a strong tech team with experience building products for billions of users to realize that. We believe that true professionals are able to organize their work independently and that a working day has not been a good day without some laughing.
