Connecting aged relatives with their digital native grandchildren is hugely satisfying - creating a process where an retiree can easily create a visual & aural legacy for their great, great, grandchildren is being part of making tomorrow's history.... However - it's difficult to imagine that you aren't sitting using an Apple - in fact you need to pretend to be your grandmother's friend who neither understands technology nor care about it, they just want it to work and they've not had to worry about learning how to use websites of computers for the last 70-80-90 years... that's your user base. Making "stuff" easy for them and remembering they are using their dated technology is a challenge... and suggesting they download the latest Flash or upgrade their 5year old PC is not an option Special2Us works with the elderly in mind - but also is creating a tool which we have discovered is being used by carers of Alzheimer's & Dementia sufferers... there's job satisfaction in knowing code's being used for a good cause
