Spareslab is a digital marketplace for shipping spare parts offering a tailored solution for the industry. The shipping industry is under significant economic pressures and there is strong push to improve operational efficiency. One way to do so is through improvement in procurement, which is a highly inefficient and antiquated process with significant transactional issues for both the buyers and sellers. Our product has two main offerings: search and inquiry to provide the best product coverage. The platform has various process innovations for global fulfillment and to rapidly grow product coverage. The industry as it stands is ripe for disruption and the required technologies exist but need to be better customized for the industry. We believe we have right mix of business understanding and execution capability to bring to market the right ecommerce solution for shipping spares that can later be adopted for a wider range of industries.
