SpaceFab.US is currently building its first generation satellite, an 8 inch space telescope. It will be launched as a secondary payload in early 2019, on board a SpaceX Falcon 9.

We will provide a service for researchers and the general public to schedule observations using our space telescope as well as providing a service to access archived space imagery and data.

Follow on missions will utilize robotics and our new ion engine to return a sample from a metal rich asteroid.

Our unique space telescope optical design provides four times the mirror area compared to other satellites of similar size and mass. Our advanced ion engine accelerator design will provide two to three times the thrust with the same propellant consumption, greatly enabling deep space missions.
