Jobs at Space Kinetic
The space industry is growing rapidly, and venture capital investments in space tech have tripled since 2017. NASA and private companies are investing hundreds of billions of dollars on lunar development. The moon is compelling for government and private sector because it is the closest celestial body that can be reliably supported by frequent travel; it offers opportunities for scientific research, resource utilization, and industrial development; and it provides important strategic benefits for national interest. As such, the lunar economy is projected to be worth over $170 billion by 2040. To reach this milestone, each player in the lunar economy will require access to reliable energy and resources. However, delivering power and resources in the lunar environment are two of the toughest challenges that remain unsolved at scale. Current solutions relying on cables, power beaming, and rovers are prohibitively expensive, inefficient, and slow to scale. Space Kinetic is developing a technology to provide the only integrated, truly scalable energy and resource distribution service to support all lunar operations. Our system is 80% cheaper than cables and more than twice as efficient as power beaming technology. It can also handle 10 times more resource delivery than rovers. Ultimately, Space Kinetic’s integrated service will catalyze exponential growth for the economy and for potential investors. Space Kinetic is growing fast. Since incorporating in February 2022, our co-founders Vu Vuong & Scott Ziegler have built a team of 20 technical engineers (notably one former NASA Branch Chief of Applied Physics) and six business operators. Our team of advisors are experienced, well-connected, and reputable. Our engineering and business teams are creative, daring, and committed. Our founders are relentless, value-driven, and mission-inspired. Ultimately, Space Kinetic is committed to enabling a prosperous space economy.
