Solar Village Project careers

Solar Village Project is a non profit organization that is launching an affiliated for profit social enterprise. We will be building on our 8 years of experience working with solar and rural, energy impoverished communities in India. The social enterprise we are launching will utilize IOT connected solar home lighting systems and a Pay As You Go technology platforms to reach rural districts that do not have reliable connections to the grid. We will market a wide range of solar powered home products from Televisions and fans to basic lighting and phone charging systems. There is ample research available that projects exponential market growth for solar home systems in India and our own pilot project demonstrates a viable path forward. We have a detailed financial plan that also demonstrates feasibility based on realistic sales numbers. Our organizational structure will emulate other successful existing social enterprises in India and Africa operating under the same concepts.
