Sneakerlist allows sneakerheads to connect with each other directly and locally. The existing sneaker platforms (i.e. StockX & GOAT) are not built a social commerce platforms as they do not allow interactions and direct transactions between users at a local level. We have continued to discover that many local resellers want to bypass the incumbent sneaker platforms, and deal locally. We are the fastest moving company to build a new product to solve for their local need.
We have launched an iOS mobile app that allows users to discover, buy and sell sneakers locally. When the user signs up, they have to specify their zip code so that other users can know where they are located. Through our search feature, users can find shoes based on geography, size and brand, discovering products that they are interested in. For sellers, we also created an easy way to upload inventory, specifying the shoe size, brand as well as product condition. This streamlines their selling experience, making it quick and easy to post inventory on to the platform. In order to purchase a shoe, users can send chats and offer a price. If both parties agree on terms, they can schedule an in-person meet up to finish the transaction. After a transaction is finished, users can review the counter party. This mutual review system will allow good members to become featured, and build a higher reputation on the platform so that new users can deal with them with more comfort. Lastly, we created a discussion forum, where users can post pictures, share content and knowledge with others. Users can follow others so that they can receive push notifications whenever that person posts new products or sends them chats. Our goal is to incorporate tools that allow Sneakerlist to become a vibrant reselling community that users really love.
