Smile ID is Africa's leading digital identity verification and Know Your Customer (KYC) provider. We were founded to solve the specific challenges faced by companies trying to onboard users in unique African conditions. We have built proprietary machine learning algorithms and a technology platform to cater for all skin tones, entry level devices and users operating in low bandwidth environments. The Role
We are hiring an MBA Intern for 7 months starting in late May. Our ideal candidate is a current MBA student, just finishing up their first year; we’d be open to a full-time internship during the summer, and a part-time internship through the rest of 2024 when classes start again. We will figure out the details with the right candidate.
This is a chance to make a big impact in a growth stage company. This role reports directly to the CEO.
What the role involves
Role Description:
- Primary function is Revenue Operations (RevOps), reporting directly to the CEO
- Requires in-office presence in London (Marylebone) for at least 2 days a week
- Paid internship opportunity
Role Responsibilities:
- Shape our revenue strategy and optimize operations to boost commercial outcomes by leveraging analytical skills and familiarity with sales, marketing, and finance
- Lead cross-functional teams toward shared objectives through the design and implementation of streamlined processes and systems
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Data Analytics, and Operations teams to enhance key metrics, including forecast accuracy, pipeline velocity, and deal value realization
What We’re Looking For
- Current 1st-year MBA student with a minimum of 2 years of prior work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, grounded in a data-driven approach
- Independent ability to generate quantitative analyses and models
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment; B2B SaaS or tech experience is a plus
