1) We use in-house capital. This makes it easier, and aligns our incentives a little more.

2) We invest in early stage of course, but mostly prefer to *partner* with profitable online businesses. We buy a minority stake in typical "lifestyle businesses", becoming a growth-oriented partner.

3) We love cashflow positive businesses. Unicorn hunting is great for many, just not our cup of tea (most of the time). Small can be beautiful (and profitable).

4) We hustle hard, but quality of life is important for both us AND our founders.

5) We are very interested in holding companies for the longterm. Sometimes it makes sense to sell, and we're not opposed to that. But we also love holding for the long haul. We leave this 100% up to the founders.

6) Last but not least, we love leveraging our unfair advantages when possible. We're SEO nerds (see SmashDigital.com ) and have experience in a dozen different markets. If we can use that, we will.
