Over the last 15 years, we have been involved in several AI breakthroughs going back to the Siri and Alexa days.
Our founding team has spearheaded the research and development of foundational LLMs since the very early days. Prior to LLMs, we built foundational deep learning models with Professor Yoshua Bengio, the father of Deep Learning.
The team previously started Maluuba, which was an industry pioneer in building generalizable and scalable Natural Language Understanding platforms with hundreds of millions of users until it was acquired by Microsoft (later became MSR Canada).
