Skitii is a medical device that helps cancer patients stay calm during treatment using adaptive music therapy powered by AI.
The Problem We Solve
65-85% of head and neck cancer patients experience severe anxiety during radiation and chemotherapy. This anxiety causes 26% of patients to drop out of treatment, costing hospitals ₹4-5 lakh per patient in lost revenue. More importantly, incomplete treatment reduces survival rates.
How Skitii Works
Our system continuously monitors heart rhythm through a chest sensor (Polar H10) and uses a patent-pending two-phase algorithm to select therapeutic music that matches each patient's stress level. Every 2.5 minutes, the AI analyzes heart rate variability (RMSSD) and adapts the music to guide patients toward calm states.
We generate instrumental music across four therapeutic categories using generative AI, ensuring culturally appropriate, personalized experiences without lyrics that might trigger emotional responses.
Clinical Validation
Technical validation with 15 healthy volunteers achieved <0.5ms accuracy versus gold-standard . We will measure anxiety reduction using validated HADS scores, comparing adaptive versus static music therapy.
Regulatory & Market
Skitii is classified as a CDSCO Class B medical device. We're pursuing Indian regulatory approval first, followed by CE Mark for European markets where digital therapeutics receive ₹15,000+ reimbursement per patient through programs like Germany's DiGA.
Our B2B hospital model generates ₹10-20 lakh monthly revenue per hospital by preventing treatment dropouts while improving patient outcomes.
