90% of Oil & Gas products are transported through pipelines. These 4.5 million km of pipelines worldwide are subject to various security risks. To ensure their safety and to conform with regulatory constraints, periodic inspections are required. Inspections are usually conducted via intelligent robot that are inserted inside the pipeline but for various reasons these tools are not applicable on 30% of the worldwide network or 1.5 million KM. This situation constitutes a major safety threat for the people and the environment in close proximity. Skipper NDT is active in a market evaluated to be over $4.5 BN. To tackle this challenge we built an experienced team of experts functional and subject matter experts to develop a service that will allow the inspection of pipelines where "traditional" technologies are not applicable. Many strategic and institutional partners have joined the project amongst whom TOTAL, The European Union, BPI France, WILCO, Ministere de la Recherche et de l'innovation (cours iLab 2017). Our offices are located within the premises of the incubator Agoranov in Paris.
