Hello, we are skiplyn, a UC Berkeley Skydeck pad-13 food technology startup that caters to university students and clubs. It has also won prizes from Amazon and Microsoft, as well as being admitted into the Founder Institute incubator in San Francisco. We recently received our first round of pre-seed funding and are on our way to expanding into new areas across California. As a result, we are very excited to welcome a new member to our tiny team, who will be both gratifying and interesting. Responsibilities Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns Creating marketing goals related to customer acquisition, lead generation and revenue Design and develop marketing materials Conducting market research on competitors to augment marketing efforts Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Create a high-quality product content and monitoring social media traffic to measure the public’s perception of the company’s brand You’re a great fit for this role if… Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques Recent, demonstrable experience in a marketing-intensive post Excellent communicator, exceptional writing and problem-solving skills Research and analytical skills Experience with the content creating tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools It’s even better if… You are presently pursuing a UC Berkeley or San Jose State University degree.
