Learning and teaching are fundamentals of our modern societies and the internet has given us a tremendous potential to share our most inspiring and informative stories and learn new skills. In fact this is nothing new, everyone was talking about this potential since before the dawn of the world wide web. It feels great to learn a new skill you always dreamed of or to find a community you can share your passion with and grasp on new ideas that will change your life forever.

But it’s so noisy out there.

In platforms such as youtube, you as an educator should compete with other hot contents such as music videos. In “education marketplaces” such as Skillshare and Udemy it’s only a mere luck that your golden content is found by students, and if you are hosting your own website, all the hard work like marketing and distributing your content is on your shoulder, it’s such a burden to take care of. Online education has become so tedious; well, it shouldn’t be. Online education is a treasure and it must remain that way.
Educating others is not an one-off thing, it is an endless journey to be shared. It’s not a monologue, it’s a dialogue and it is not for a privileged few, it’s for everyone. Nowadays learning feels like a mission, rather than a passion. Something like a jammed market, rather than a peaceful sanctuary. Something you have to do, not to embrace.
All the marvelous capabilities that the internet has brought us to learn and connect is now buried under a mess of noisy environments, advertisements and distractions.
Online education deserves a redesign. Modernized for the way we learn today. We need to empower educators to create beautiful, immersive, and rich content and monetize their most valuable stories. We need to enable content creators to grow and nurture their community.
