Jobs at SKIES Learn

Our mission is to improve K-12 student achievement by providing effective technology and training to teachers. We are growing quickly in the Los Angeles area, and schools using SKIES have seen record gains in student participation, engagement, and achievement. More than 20,000 teachers and students at over 100 schools use SKIES every day, a number that has been doubling every year since 2016. We have a strong presence in Los Angeles' highest need schools — in Local District Central, SKIES is used site-wide in over 30% of the schools. In 2019, teachers in a majority-minority public school in Highland Park used SKIES to engage elementary students in mathematics. The result was a math Smarter Balanced score increase of 22 points, the largest increase in an LAUSD public school that year. In 2020, teachers in a majority-minority school in South LA using SKIES for remote learning had 90% weekly participation, on par with the wealthiest high schools. All 25 of their teachers used SKIES daily. Other schools in the area had only 40-60% weekly participation. Post-COVID, all 650,000 students in LAUSD now have access to technology, and going forward, we will be working with our partner schools to make an even more pronounced and positive impact in education.
