We have designed and patented a novel molecular scaffold that allows us to inhibit multiple key processes (cellular signaling) needed by cancer cells to proliferate, metastasize, and grow. Our approach challenges industry dogma of one drug one target which results in drugs that work for only a short period of time before resistance occurs and which are very expensive --too expensive to be added to combinations. Our approach of dual inhibition in one drug provides simultaneous inhibition of resistance pathways allowing a drug to be more effective and work longer for the patient. Our approach also provides huge cost savings (2 drugs in one) to the patient and provides a way to get to more complex affordable effective cancer drug combinations. Lastly, toxicity from off-target effects of two drugs is reduced by using our dual inhibitor mechanism providing safer treatments at reduced costs. Our dual inhibitory products are in various stages of preclinical and early clinical trial studies.
