Showgoers careers

Showgoers is a growing platform and community for enjoying movies and shows in real-time with friends online. The experience is built on the premise that the vast majority of movies and shows have an inherent real-time social component (ie. it's better if you watch with someone else) and that existing streaming experiences are neglecting it.

Users can create and promote their own watching parties. Upon joining a watching party, your player becomes synchronized with all the other players in the party. You watch what they watch and you can chat and interact with others in the party while you do it.

The experience is similar to Twitch.tv (45 million MAU) but for movies and shows instead of games. In addition to being able to create their own watching parties, users can browse a list community watching parties. They might choose to watch their favorite show with other super fans or to watch a movie in real-time with an actor who starred in the movie itself.
