Shared Electric develops software for electricity utilities to manage end-consumers’ usage.

When a utility needs to change consumption at a specific hour we identify a suitable group of consumers (analysing historical smart meter data, previous responses, weather, time of day). We send that group a message over an App asking them, in advance to move, reduce or increase consumption.

The action that people take is driven by the message where we give information about rewards as well as information about the reduction of their climate footprint

In the app they see an overview of how much CO2 and money they have saved so far.

This software allows the utility to lower both procurement cost and carbon footprint.
