Culture and benefits at Shadowscape

Culture overview

First and foremost, we are a company of critical thinkers and forethought. We want coming to work to be an opportunity, not an obligation. This requires us to foster a culture of employee ownership on the projects they adopt. This is what leads to our products, not the other way around. As a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business, Shadowscape thrives on self-starters that are not shy about rolling up their sleeves and doing the work that needs done to be successful. We are a project-management focused company that is far more concerned with results and employee ownership over hours. The company is largely decentralized but by adopting a strong project managed culture, employees enjoy flexible working conditions. With task assignments, ticketing, tracking and communication, as long as the tasks are being done, the hours are very flexible and PTO unlimited. Second, transparency. This is a team effort, and the bottom line affects everybody. Many avenues will be available for open communication and think tanks top to bottom. If there is a short coming in one area, we want to know where and what it is to make this company be its best for all of its employees. As we work together to get the job done, we will win as a team or lose as one. Lastly, respect. Some ideas will be winners and some not so much. They key is not just to be heard, but to listen. If someone is taking the time to convey an idea, respect of listening and understanding is given. Likewise, if ideas are presented, respect for input must also be given. Ideas should be freely discussed as well as assessed for all their strengths and weaknesses. Only through open and respectful dialogue can leading innovation occur.
