ServiMercado careers

ServiMercado is a local services marketplace for Latin America, similar to Angie's List and RedBeacon. Consumers can post project details, receive competitive bids from local service providers, compare ratings and reviews, and choose the service provider with the best value. Consumers can also search business profiles and reputations on a subscription basis.
The need for this service is greater in Latin America than North America, for several reasons:
1) Service providers spend little or nothing on promotion and are subsequently hard to find.
2) Service quality ranges far and wide: with minimal government regulation, virtually anyone with the right tools can begin selling their services. The ServiMercado reputation system will provide much needed consumer protection.
3) The project bidding process will curb predatory pricing that exists due to unhealthy competition.
