Serinus Labs, Inc., is the world`s first manufacturer of integrated silicon gas sensors, focused on developing mobile integrated gas sensing solutions for consumer and industrial applications such as in air quality monitoring, safety and preventive healthcare. Founded in 2017 and based in Berkeley, CA, Serinus Labs uses proprietary technology developed at UC Berkeley, to offer low power gas sensing solutions with significant competitive advantages over status quo in terms of size, power, sensitivity and selectivity as well as the capability for proliferation in mobile consumer tech. Founders of Serinus Labs are Hossain Fahad, Ph.D. (Post-Doc, UC Berkeley, EECS; expertise: nanoelectronics, advanced manufacturing technologies and device physics) and Ali Javey, Ph.D. (Distinguished Professor, UC Berkeley, EECS; expertise: physical chemistry, device physics, material science and nanoelectronics).
