Critical shortage of people with technology skills coinciding with large population of unemployed people in Africa. As a result, employers cannot meet their IT staffing needs. Not only do employers find it hard to retool their existing workforce with tech skills and diverse training, this also inhibits the sale and support of needed technical solutions from around the world. Today, only 0.5% of the population of 1.3B in Africa is technically skilled.
