It is common for individuals suffering from visual impairment to facetime others for help with seemingly mundane tasks such as reading a menu, picking clothes, or getting around the city. However, it is difficult to point your phone when you can’t see what you’re looking at. It is also near impossible for users to perform other tasks if they have to hold onto a cane or guide dog as well as a phone. Seleste is selling a pair of smart glasses with a camera, mic and speaker, which along with our companion app, allows users to call their friends, family or even volunteers hands-free from the glasses! Our app also uses AI to allow users to read text, detect objects, recognize faces and more from the glasses, allowing users to perform more tasks by themselves and reclaim their independence!
