Scento careers

Scento is Europe's largest perfume decant website, an online perfume shop for authentic designer and niche fragrances sold as decants and samples. Instead of buying a full bottle after one spray on a paper strip, you can wear a perfume for days or weeks and then decide.

The catalogue lists more than 1,000 perfumes from a sourcing roster of 200 designer and niche houses: names such as Creed, Amouage, Louis Vuitton, Parfums de Marly, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Xerjoff, Byredo, Tom Ford and Dior sit next to smaller independent perfumers.

Every Scento decant is hand-poured from an original full-sized bottle bought from authorised European retailers. Perfumes come in 2 ml, 5 ml and 8 ml glass spray vials, and most are also available as a 30 ml bottle decant. Decanting takes place in Scento's ISO-certified facility, and every bottle passes a 12-point intake inspection before it is opened; more than 50,000 bottles have been through it so far.

Beyond single perfumes, Scento offers discovery sets that group several decants by house or fragrance family, perfume gift sets, gift cards, refillable travel atomiser cases and a fragrance quiz that suggests perfumes to try. Free tools include a perfume batch code checker, and the Scento blog publishes perfume guides, note explainers and fragrance market research.

Scento was founded in 2024 by Sebastian Dobrincu, its founder and CEO. The company is headquartered in Paris, with offices in Paris and Berlin. It serves 27 European markets, ships tracked orders to 26 EU countries and counts more than 85,000 members. The website is available in 10 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Czech and Polish.
