World's fastest full-text search and detection platform for Security Data Lakes
The Origin Story

At our previous startup, our application and security logs experienced a rapid increase in volume—and so did our log management bill.

We didn't want to spend $1M per year on Splunk or other traditional logging tools, so we started deleting logs or moving them into S3. This made debugging and security investigations painfully difficult. The data we needed was often missing, and S3 was too slow to search. Constant fighting with log volume limits and painfully long query times had a massive impact on our productivity.

We discovered that by indexing data directly in clients' S3 buckets in an intelligent way, we could provide extremely fast search and threat detection across massive datasets at low cost.
The broader problem became clear: cyber threats often take months to be detected, and most security teams don't have access to their historical data because it's exorbitantly expensive to store and search at scale. This forces companies into an impossible trade-off—pay a fortune to analyze all your data, or accept coverage blind spots that increase risk.

What We Built

We believe Data Lakes are the future of security data. Scanner is the world's fastest full-text search and detection platform for Security Data Lakes.

Security teams can now search years and petabytes of logs in seconds (up to 700x faster than alternatives), eliminate SIEM coverage blind spots at 70-80% lower cost, and deploy in a day—all while maintaining full custody of their data in their own S3 buckets.

We believe security tools should scale with your data, not your budget. Teams shouldn't have to choose between comprehensive coverage and financial sustainability.
