Saphetor is a personalized medicine diagnostics company working to improve outcomes for patients by offering clinicians data-driven solutions for making better diagnoses and selecting optimal therapies. To do this, Saphetor is pioneering the automation of the currently laborious and disparate processes required for genome-scale analyses and annotation of data from NGS – Next Generation Sequencing.

Saphetor already has created an innovative approach for aggregating and efficiently interrogating more than 8 billion individual annotations from multiple external sources. This work, which leverages proprietary algorithms, affords Saphetor the power needed to rapidly identify pathogenic variants with higher confidence (i.e. fewer false positives and fewer false negatives) than competitors.

Saphetor sells access to its technology platform for automated NGS data analysis and annotation and also offers value added content (i.e. reports written by molecular geneticists) to medical geneticists.
