It all begins with proper hand hygiene. Unfortunately, the average hand hygiene compliance rate in America is only 31%!

At Sanus Solutions, we developed a hand hygiene assistant. Our assistant utilizes a series of network-connected IoT devices attached to rooms and hand hygiene devices such as sanitizers or sinks. By using sensors and facial recognition, we are able to detect, analyze, and alert staff members about their hand hygiene status.

As a hospital staff member enters a room they are required to comply with proper hand hygiene. If the staff member does not comply within the a time-frame, this data is recorded and a real-time alert is given immediately to the staff member in a way the hospital chooses. This can be done by audio or phone notification.
