Sanomics adopts Droplet Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction (ddPCR), Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology to complete Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) and Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time PCR).

- The first type of service provides genetic analysis using ddPCR technology, enabling a simple and speedy process. For example, one of our services “p-EGFR®” detects the EGFR gene mutation which causes lung cancer.
- The second type of service uses NGS technology, which can be used to test a large gene panel analysing the situation and determining if there are any gene mutations. it covers more genes than the first type of service. For instance, OncoSnap™ tumour profiling test screens genetic alterations in tumour samples. It can be used to detect 130 genes which will cause breast cancer, ovarian cancer, skin cancer, colorectal cancer, bone cancer, and brain cancer, etc. Another example is BRCA Zoom™ genetic test, which can detect the mutations of BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene
