Saarthi is a leading not-for-profit start-up, operating in the low-income education sector. Research has shown that the family and community of a child play a very important role in his/her development. At Saarthi, we aim to transform parents' involvement in their child's development. We use innovative modes of delivery including IVR calls and Kits to reach out to parents in low-income communities. We focus on building the requisite knowledge, attitude and practices in parents so that they are empowered to engage effectively with their children at home. Saarthi is currently supported by Central Square Foundation and has been selected by N/Core, UnLtd India and InnovatED (Teach for India) under their incubation programmes.
