Ryde is a subscription-based transportation service accessible through a mobile application that allows customers to request a car ride whenever they need it. This is meant to supplant car ownership by giving the customers all the benefits of having a car without having to worry about all the hassles that come with it: paying for gas, maintenance, insurance, parking, even driving!

The current generation is becoming accustomed to having access to what they need instantaneously, and commitment is being replaced by periodical subscriptions as with Spotify and Netflix.

But we are not looking to be a ride sharing application. We are looking to replace car ownership entirely.

Picture a self-driving car pulling up to your driveway ready to take you to work in the morning, to your mom’s in time for Thanksgiving dinner, or even home after having a few drinks too many. One click and you’ll be there.
