The Market for garden offices, rooms and buildings in general is currently seeing exponential growth in the shadow of Covid-19. It is set to maintain prominence over the years ahead as working practices require an increasing number of employees working from home, and households needing increased access to affordable space. Rooms2U’s objective is to deliver the “go-to” on-line marketplace where sellers of all types of new and used garden buildings can list and promote their products, and potential buyers can connect with sellers direct to find solutions to their ever growing living, storage and work space challenges. Founded in 2019, Rooms2U secured initial seed investment and has quickly developed its current MVP platform and secured initial proof-of-concept (POC) revenues from around 50 live sellers, 300 products, and 30,000 marketplace visitors per month. The company is currently in a further round of equity funding targeted to complete in Q1 2020. The incoming CTO will be a key part of this process, and developing the vision for growth ongoing.
