How do you meet new people?

At a bar? At your apartment complex? At work?

Next, what are the odds that the person you meet at the bar, apartment complex, or work is someone who not only likes the same activities as you, but also has a personality and lifestyle/moral/political views that you vibe with?

...Yeah, we think those odds are pretty slim too.

So, we designed a way to easily find new people based on activities, then see what their personality’s like.

All before deciding to message them or not.

It's unbelievably intuitive.

- In the app's Find More page, we have 57 different activities like Brunch, Skiing, Pokemon Go, Shopping, and Concerts.
1) You can click into one activity like Skiing, and then scroll through Profile Previews of all the people who want to do that activity.
2) Then you'd click into their profile to get a feel for their personality and lifestyle.
3) If you think you'd enjoy doing that activity with them, shoot 'em a message!

At Rock It, we're designing technology that actually enhances individual's lives. That means that we measure the success of our app directly in proportion to your happiness and well-being. We're not designing our platform to keep you online all day; we're designing our platform to make it easier for you to meet more people and do more in-person social activities. The more people you meet IRL and the more activities you try, the happier you are and the happier we are!

I'm a non-technical, but I've spent the past nine months designing the app out to the last detail, so it's fully designed for the launch-ready version. I just secured the first $500k in funding in August, hired the first two developers, and am looking for one bomb-ass dev to be the lead developer. We need someone with a good amount of experience and high technical knowledge to lead us through the launch on December 2nd/Jan 2nd.
