Initial Problem: colleges and universities desperately need to increase enrollment & improve outcomes, but can’t afford the upfront investment & fixed costs required for new degree programs

Solution: pay-as-you-go degree programs that require virtually zero upfront investment or risk. By allowing colleges to add new online courses taught by other institutions, Rize provides non-profit, accredited colleges & universities with skills-based majors & minors for college credit at a fraction of the cost of traditional programs

Traction: working with 135+ private colleges. ~350 college programs already fully adopted across 90 colleges, with many more in the pipeline. Google and Unity Technologies partnerships

Funding: raised Series A from top VCs

Team: 20 person team that includes a College President, 2 former Blackstone, Decoded’s former Head of Product, a former VP at Cadre, a Y Combinator alum, and eight Harvard/Yale/Princeton/UPenn/MIT grads
