RISE is building enterprise software that brings a digital workflow to the frontlines of the refugee humanitarian response effort.

Using mobile and cloud technology, we are helping humanitarian responders identify and remove barriers to education as an entry-point to accelerate humanitarian aid for refugee children. Our software is mobile-first and offline-capable and will operate in infrastructure-poor settings commonly found in refugee camps. Our innovation was conceived using human-centered design principles and is based on the founders’ extensive experience helping refugee children receive essential services.

As a winner of the OpenIDEO Education in Emergencies challenge, we are currently working with the Australian State Department to build and test the Education module of our software in East Africa in 2018. We seek partnerships and support to build the full version of our software platform so that it can have the most positive impact on as many refugee children as possible.
