Rikai Labs is building a platform for chat based language learning games.

Our flagship product, ComicEnglish, allows players to learn a language in an engaging narrative driven format. Our system allows teachers to create chat like lessons. Players get so immersed in these they forget they're learning!

Each lesson is built around a detective story where players interview in-game characters. They use their language skills to solve a mystery. The story is combined with vocabulary, grammar and practice drills to help players effectively communicate with in game characters to solve in game mysteries.

Using different types of game widgets, players interactively create sentences. AI chatbots and teacher supervised chats then respond to the player’s inputs like real people.
