Retrica is a camera and community driven app that lets its users take photos and edit them with over 130 different filters, and share them with the world. Retrica also lets each user tell their own authentic story, beautifully and cinematically, through its own social platform that lets each member express their unique creativity. Retrica users continue to grow, with over 400 million downloads globally and 83 million photos taken every day.

It was founded in November 2012 by Sangwon Park and received $6 Million in series A investment from
Bessemer Partners, Goodwater Capital and Altos Ventures in 2015.

Retrica was founded by Sangwon Park in November 2014 in Gangnam, Seoul. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the top 5 of the best selfie apps available for iOS and Android.

Retrica is currently expanding the team with software engineers, content developers and administrative staff as it works towards developing more technological advancements and making Retrica known to more and more people across the globe.
