The ERG test is an underutilized diagnostic tool due to clinical workflow burden and patient discomfort, even though it can detect eye diseases up to 8 years earlier than OCT and HVF tests (IOVS 54:2346-2352, 2013). We will bring to market the RM Electrode, the first disposable ERG soft contact lens, which is plug-and-play compatible with currently used instrumentation. Our patented RM Electrode significantly improves ERG workflow by eliminating cleaning of reusable sensors while acquiring a significantly larger signal in less time (ARVO 4890:B0279, 2016).

The next product on our roadmap is the CLEAr LensTM System, which utilizes the RM Electrode technology platform along with patented software and hardware to enable functional mapping of the entire eye, showing abnormalities that indicate early signs of disease such as Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. This system will provide clinicians with an ability to see the retina periphery for the first time.
