The product team you'll be joining exists to educate and inform people about their financial health, as simple as that sounds, there are no easy solutions to this. Not fully knowing where you stand in the eyes of financial institutions is normal unfortunately and it can be incredibly frustrating. This is how we are similar to credit karma (in a place where there isn't such a thing). We have gained solid traction doing this, and solved a real problem for our users, which makes us extremely happy and proud, yet we still see a huge gap between more mature markets. There is an exciting road ahead in filling that gap.
We step back from this and invariably conclude that this is a stepping stone, a feature in a broader scope that gives us a trustworthy presence in peoples financial lives. Step two is to bring more of the life changing benefits of good financial products to our users: Easy to understand, with fair terms, enabled by great design and tech.
